Mind Controlling Just Got Easier

How hard is it to move a mouse cursor with hands and how lazy have people got to be to resort to this? This is very invasive. I went to the article and it pointed out that sensors were placed on the surface of their brains! I, personally, would not go as far getting implants just to control a mouse cursor without my hands, but I would find it useful in some other task for those people who are physically unable to do tasks on their own.
ReplyDeleteI think the point of this research was not to simply move a mouse with your brain. This experiment is just a stepping stone to something bigger like being able to use your brain to move anything! I agree that this procedure is very invasive, and I wonder if there are any side effects to leaving the electrodes in your brain for an extended period.
