Microsoft and Toyota Partner

Microsoft and Toyota has announced that they are teaming up to generate vehicles that will provide consumers with features such as GPS, power-management and multimedia services. This means that Toyota cars will have access to the Internet as early as 2015. An investment of $12 million to help get this concept started.

  1. One will think that GPS technology is available now for all for just an additional cost to the buyer.Power management sound kind of interesting to see what they mean by that as well multimedia services, because we already have ipod adapter in cars and usb ports. Anyway, am curious to see what it is .

  2. Honestly I expect most car companies to follow suit, in the face of the future. People are going to be looking for these features in their vehicles as time progresses, and if vehicle manufacturers refuse or ignore this need, they will probably lose a fair amount of their client base and future profits.
