Replacing the strings with a touch screen, this just defeats the purpose of playing guitar. But at the same time, musicians will be able to customize the guitar to their liking such as the number of strings, instrument style, sound and tone. This helps musicians to only carrying one customizable instrument. In other words, this could just be an advanced version of Guitar Heroes.

  1. I been paying guitar for the past 3 years and i think this feature can never replace real guitar. For me, i think playing guitar is an art and skill that you acquire over time judging by how hard you practice. This sound simulator is another program to manipulate sound and can never replace a real guitar

  2. I agree playing guitar relaxes me and it's not a very easy skill to learn it takes practice and dedication. It would almost be an insult if anyone could just pick up a guitar and play mindlessly, of course not counting guitar hero as that doesn't impress anyone.

  3. I don't think anything could replace the good old guitar. People love the guitar, the time it takes to learn and the skill that is required to play it. Yes it may be a help in creating music more easily but I think people are always going to stick with what they know the best... the same out guitar

  4. I completely agree with the whole idea of it not being compared to the real deal. That would be like comparing an online chemistry lab to an online lab. Although I don't think it will overtake reality, I think this is a cool idea just to play with.
