Hey there everyone, Last semester I was taking English 102 where we were all researching social networking sites. We mostly talked about sites like Twitter and Facebook but one site that was new to me was one that IBM business use called LOTUS. I recall that lotus also had the accessibility to post new found information as a pop up and it was essentially a cloud of information and groups of colleagues within the same overall business. My teacher emphasised that unlike Facebook it was more private and was more business oriented to get a business open and always aware of it's own new ideas. Well I just personally thought that this will be the future of business and social networking. I can NOT see a fortune 500 company "liking" or filing information with Farmvill But I can imagine separate programs like lotus opening the rang that people can express proposals within a company.
