The future of portable computers?

In 2020, a computer concept is to have Sony computers be worn on our wrists. Developed to be worn as a bracelet, this computer concept is constructed out of a flexible OLED touchscreen. Earmarked for the year 2020, features like a holographic projector (for screen), pull-out extra keyboard panels and social networking compatibility, make the concept plausible. Ten years from now is not too far away, so how many of you think we’d be buying such gadgets?

  1. I think this is super interesting. Everyone is always looking for the next big invention or upgrade in technology and i think this is it. Everyone wants immediate access to the internet and having this computer concept of it being worn on the wrist is an amazing idea. I wonder if cell phones will change to resemble a watch worn on the wrist.

  2. The power will truly be at our hands. This seems like something interesting and broad.

  3. This seems like an awesome idea, it really seems like something you would see captains of space ships using in sci-fi movies. I can't imagine how something like this will come cheap though, and will probably be reserved for the people with the cash to buy it. I'm interested to see more ideas like this and how groundbreaking they become; hopefully they bring something more than just technology that is more ascetically pleasing.

  4. ASU's Flexible Display Center researchers, actually are the pioneers in this technology. If you get a chance to visit it, please do(you actually need to know someone in there to get in). But the best electrical engineering and Math brains seem to work in there.
