Hacking Competiton
It would seem at this one event hackers are actually congratulated and paid if their services seem redeemable. An event called Pwn2own. Where hackers are able to go in a monitored area and try and hack browsers, Out of all the 4 major browsers, Safari, IE, Chrom, And Firefox. Chrome is the only to be un-hacked as of yet. Google is offering 20,000 US dollars to the first person to find a hole in their system on the first day. Any Takers?

This is the new way of testing how good a piece of software that you put out there is.It is true that some hackers do get paid for their work in this scenario as far as it is not malicious.
