App that stop texting while driving

This app is created to stop the texting function of the phone while the user is in a moving car. I think this is a great app to stop the urge of texting when one is driving a car.

You can see the video about the app in link below:

  1. This is a great app! Hopefully this will in fact lead to fewer accidents and safer drivers. It is very interesting how a surgeon came up with this idea after seeing so many people severely injured or dead because of an accident caused by someone using their phone while driving. This goes to show that anyone who sees the need for an app in a certain area can definitely make it happen!

  2. This sounds like a good app but how many people are actually going to go do this themself. People that don't want to text and drive... they don't so they don't need the app. People that text and drive don't see a problem with it so they are not going to go get an app that stops them from doing such. I think a more effective way to get people to stop texting and driving is to make a voice detection system built right into the phone where a person can simple say "read unread text message" and the phone will read them aloud to you then have the person be able to say "text (name): hi ya i am fine, send". This changed the distraction of looking down at your phone to that of having a simple conversation like that of if someone was in the passanger seat.

  3. This app sounds wonderful. I hope they keep continuing to produce apps so helpful as this. My own mother is guilty of texting in the car. I myself, as an inexperienced driver, don't use my phone at all in the car.

  4. Yea this is starting to become a trend, where applications and soon maybe even phones are literally very restricted use while driving, im sure in the near future we will see phones that will do just that.

  5. Its great to stop people from texting while driving but the passengers ability to access phone and or text to be shut down as well? I am not so sure I agree with the Doctor's idea that its worth the risk. Honestly, everyone who texts while driving knows the seriousness of the consequences and sadly we can't save everyone from stupidity.
