I bought an application for my Android phone two days ago. Unfortunately, they implemented a 15 minute return policy. I don't regret my purchase, but 15 minutes isn't enough to try out any app. Amazon released their own app store last week. They have a feature on the website that loads up an Android OS to allow you to try out the app. It's kind of fun to play around with, but will save you a couple bucks if you try out an app and decide you don't like it.

I do it the cheep way. My phone provider has a section of apps that are free. I just look at those, I mean, if you don't mind the ad's the apps are just as good in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteI hear that Amazon actually is in a bit of trouble with Apple because "app store" is actually a term credited by Apple. Amazon will have to call their store something else before more money is lost than earned. However, it is very exciting to see different applications out there, hopefully amazon will decide to have customers create their own apps for much cheaper!
ReplyDeleteThis is nice,at least you get to try the app you want to buy before buying it.I agree with the blogger that 15mins is a little to short to decided if you want the app or not.I think more like 24hrs will do.
